The Formula Chair was designed by Eero Aarnio in 1998. Slightly rocking back and forth, the Formula Chair is perfect for a comfortable sitting and for relaxing. Eero Aarnio on the design: “When looking at a Formula 1 car from above there are two very wide 'armrests' on either side of the driver, and looking from the side there is a high headrest. When you take out the wheels, what is left is clearly a FORMULA Chair and they both move about although the car is faster”. The Formula Chair by Eero Aarnio is made of fibreglass and is available in different colours. The production of the fibreglass models is still done exclusively by the same factory in Finland using the original moulds.
